*** Min profil på norsk: https://www.linkedin.com/in/clairedefloucaron/?locale=no_NO I am looking for ways to contribute to the society through: 1) a position fitting my experience, 2) a role as an independent board member. 1) As a consultant and advisor during more than 15 years, I have accumulated a solid competence on HR, sustainability, management, digital transformation and banking. Change management and program- / project management have been at the core of most assignments, giving me experience in risk management and all types of reporting, as well as compliance. During my career, I have led interdisciplinary teams while reporting to internal stakeholders, investors and regulatory bodies like central banks. In a team setting, I am imaginative, supportive and able to communicate effectively with experts in different fields. This allows me to function as a catalyst for reaching consensus on best solutions. I am considered to be good at building relationships and I have a sunny disposition that is said to be contagious. Interaction with customers and colleagues gives me energy and I enjoy variation in my working day. 2) In a board setting, I like to challenge status quo through constructive questions. The important point is to find the best solution irrespective of the technology that is used. I enjoy debate, because it allows to build collectively new solutions, and for me, diversity brings so much more efficiency when it is well led! At the same time, I like consensus-based decisions, since this leads to a broader accept for the tasks at hand and makes it more likely that everyone follows up. It is also important to me that the values and long term goals of the organisation are respected. As a board member I have the following qualifications: • I am an experienced board member • Over a period of several years, I have studied board function and developed a model for evaluation of board performance • As a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) in UK, I have followed courses in board dynamics • I have published articles on independent board members and well-functioning boards • My interdisciplinary background enables me to contribute in topics like IT, sustainability and leadership.
