I was a top performer at a Fortune 100 company by age 26, but my personal life was a mess. After a failed business venture, I turned to alcohol and spiraled into a 12-year period of excessive drinking. I ended up homeless, admitted to 25+ detox units, 20+ hospitals, 4 inpatient programs, and attempted suicide 3 times. I broke 15+ bones from alcohol-related accidents and lost everything: family, homes, cars, motorcycles, a boat, and a Rolex. I eventually broke free from alcohol by combining lessons from various programs. Today, I hold a Master's in Counseling and a PhD in Philosophy.
