My mission is to develop career education programs, particularly for PhD candidates. I am working closely with the Career Center, student support offices, Center for International Education and Exchange, Institute for Transdisciplinary Graduate Program, and other relevant organizations within the university.

Associate Professor

1. Plan, support, and develop international collaborations under the Global Knowledge Partnership and ASEAN Campus Projects
2. Promote Osaka University's focus areas of research and education 
3. Develop Osaka University's ASEAN Campus (Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia)
4. Connecting academics, government and overseas mission officials, and industry players under the ASEAN Campus SDGs Forums

Teaching biology and related subjects at the Chemistry-Biology Combined Major Course.

Evec, Inc.

Development of fully human antibodies for medical use, kick-started and managed a crystallography unit for existing antibodies (for patent application), involved in research in antibody engineering, animal experimentation (mice), exploration of new drug targets, started contract service businesses, promotional activities (participated in BioJapan 2016, company representative in BioPharma Asia 2017), connecting with future collaboration and business partners, establishing contacts and assisting negotiations with industry-academia consortiums, CROs, CMOs, BD consulting companies, and pharmaceutical industries, design and production of company promotional materials (brochures, posters, etc.).

Research Scientist

Employed by the Global 30 project. Responsibilities include teaching in the Chemistry-Biology Combined Major Program (CBCMP), internationalization efforts, promotion, program management and research.

Specially appointed assistant professor (Global30)

Employed by the Global Center of Excellence Program on Bio-environmental Chemistry. Responsibilities include research and education in the Graduate School of Engineering, Division of Advanced Science and Biotechnology.

Specially appointed assistant professor (GCOE)

A professional path academic with in-depth and diverse experience in research, teaching, project management, data analysis, research communication, and international relations at a national university, as well as research and business development in the drug discovery industry. Passionate in engaging and bridging multiple stakeholders in inclusive academic activities to benefit society. A husband, father, and hobbyist scuba diver.
