I began my software career in 2007 at Chirotouch, where I supported chiropractic offices in onboarding and utilizing their platform. What started as an idea in a basement soon escalated into the world’s most popular chiropractic EMR, now servicing 20,000 users. As the company grew, my role shifted into a true leadership position, and eventually into Product Management. As the “voice of the customer”, I advocated for our users and ensured that our enhancements were aligned with their needs. One noteworthy enhancement was the introduction of an external API, which directly flipped the paradigm we had with 3rd parties. Instead of building bespoke solutions, we delivered endpoints for approved vendors to build to, greatly reducing our custom development efforts. In 2016, I moved to Denver, CO, and continued my product journey with NagraStar (A division of EchoStar). As a Product Manager for the Set-top box applications, I was responsible for delivering and supporting our flagship offering, the March Madness application, which successfully ran with over 10 million users. In late 2017, I joined Gorilla Logic at Arrow Electronics as their Chief Product Owner / Product Manager. I coordinated 8 agile teams (both on-site and offshore) in a refactoring/rebuild of their concierge ecommerce platform, MyArrow. During this time, I honed my leadership skills and transitioned into an Agile Leader in the company. In 2019, I joined Pearson Education as a Senior Product Manager. My main focus was 3rd party integrations, and I led an effort to standardize our endpoints to allow new integrations to onboard quickly and with less overhead.
