The dimension of my role is to develop, lead and oversee NRC's Advocacy, Communication and Media vision, workplan and projects across the country, by working closely with the Regional Office and other Country Offices across Central and West Africa. As a member of the Extended Country Management Group,  I am also in charge of supporting the advancement of impactful national and regional advocacy initiatives and campaigns with prioritized focus on education, livelihood , protection and humanitarian access to and for displacement-affected populations. In addition, I ensure the elaboration and production of strong communications and media products, including press releases, media updates, photos, videos and social media posts.

To date, I : 
- Performed a secondment to the Niger and Mali country offices to facilitate high-level training on advocacy for partners and medias, as well as to support in the implementation of communication initiatives.
- Successfully updated  2023-2025 country advocacy strategy ;
- Developed and disseminated internally and externally newsletters, videos, success stories and factsheets to showcase the impact of NRC’s work in the lives of people forced to flee in Cameroon, dealing with various issues related to protection, WASH, Shelter and education;
- Elaborated and disseminated 10+ advocacy notes and other products to highlight the needs related to education, protection, etc for displacement affected populations in Cameroon;
- Contributed to the implementation of the campaign to launch NRC’s neglected crisis report 2022;
- Trained 100+ staffs and 50+ partners on evidence-based advocacy, communication, media and visibility

Country Advocacy & Communication Coordinator

The Regional Media and Communications Adviser position is a pivotal role within the NRC Central and West Africa region, which encompasses several countries facing significant humanitarian challenges (Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, DRC, CAR, Chad, Cameroon and Nigeria).

The adviser leads and supports NRC's media efforts, producing communication products that align with global strategies and support country office advocacy and Fundraising objectives. This role involves Crisis Management support, media training, and the development of communication guidelines in French.

Acting Regional Media and Communications Adviser

Impact Santé Afrique

The dimension of my role was to lead the design of advocacy strategies and stakeholder
engagement plans for the fight against malaria and the promotion of community health in
Cameroon and DRC, with support from the project management team. I was also in charge of
the coordination and supervision of the implementation of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) 20 Million USD funded project in Cameroon, working with Speak'Up Africa (Senegal based NGO) with a purpose  to champion efforts and advocate to impulse change in public health policy in Cameroon and DRC, with close collaboration with Ministries of Health, and NMCPs.

As a team leader, I also :
- Coordinated and supported the development of a national private sector coalition, including the development of strategic documents outlining the value proposition of the initiative;
- Developed and created 20+ communication and advocacy tools to showcase the malaria champions and the leaders engagement ;
- Worked in collaboration with the MERL Manager to determine the impact of ISA ´s strategic actions with key targets (parliamentarians, mayors, traditional and religious leaders, community health workers, etc);
- Developed strategic partnerships to leverage advocacy opportunities parliamentarians and mayors in Cameroon, to highlight the importance of their involvement at national and local level in the fight against malaria and the promotion of community health;
- Acted as the focal point for the Task Force of parliamentarians involved in the fight against malaria in Cameroon and DRC, and organized 03 information sessions for them to strengthen their knowledge of community health in Cameroon;
- Actively contributed to the preparation of the 2022 budget orientation debate for the 2023 budget of the State of Cameroon, thus contributing to the arguments that led to the 5% increase in the State budget allocated to health.

Senior Advocacy Officer - Consultant

International Committee of the Red Cross - ICRC

My role was to develop and implement a global communications strategy, with particular emphasis on operational and public communications, to foster acceptance of the ICRC among stakeholders, and to promote respect for International Humanitarian Law among target audiences, through awareness-raising and advocacy.  I was also in charge of producing communications material and monitoring the quality of productions with service providers.

During that period :
- I ensured the production, dissemination and stock management of IEC materials for the regional delegation and sub-delegations, with a consequent reduction of 70% of the processing time of the needs in communication tools ;
- I ensured the elaboration and dissemination of press releases and follow-up with local and international medias ;
- I managed  public relations with the delegation's stakeholders;
- I produced regular environment scanning and media monitoring of the regional delegation and sub-delegations, with a particular focus on the Northwest and Southwest regions ;
- I acted as operational support to sub-delegations in the implementation of communication activities.

Communication Officer

Plan International

The dimension of my role was to support of the organization and implementation of quality communication and public relation initiatives, especially advocacy and influencing activities.
I was also in charge of the development and implementation of Plan International's Social Media Strategy.

My duties also included:
- Support the organization and implementation of Media Relations initiatives
- Support the implementation of visibility actions to sell the achievements and impact of Plan International's work through various in house and external communication channels
- Support advocacy and infuencing activities
- Support the conception and production of visibility and quality IEC (Information, Education and Communication) materials and branding
- Ensure the interim of the PR&Com country specialist when needed.

La CNFN-Cam est une unité créée par l'Agence des Normes et de la Qualité,  en vue de repondre à l'epineux problème d'information et surtout de sensibilisation des femmes entrepreuneurs sur la question de normalisation.
Dans le cadre de mes fonctions, j’ai :
- Impulsé le recrutement de plus de 1000 entrepreneurs adhérents en ligne dans la base de données de la cellule, dont j’assurais parallèlement la gestion et la mise à jour quotidienne ;
- Assuré la représentation et la promotion de l’image de la cellule lors des évènements d’envergure et les rencontres professionnelles ;
- Conçu l’identité visuelle de la cellule en accord avec les exigences des différentes parties prenantes ;
