Developed, tested, and implemented a mission planning and scheduling system to conduct in-orbit mission activities daily. Directly led to the company’s first optical communication link, propulsion burn in orbit, and encrypted high data rate communications.

Accomplished optical inter-satellite data links through automated propagation and seeding of spacecraft ephemeris data to accurately command multiple spacecraft’s payloads.

Authored scripts utilizing an in-house scripting language to automatically control spacecraft attitude, payload operations, and radio communications. Removed human components of error and streamlined operations. 

Lead weekly meetings of 15+ personnel, organizing software development campaigns of new operational capabilities on-orbit. Includes coordinating the integration of software packages from multiple teams through JSONs.

Automated the deployment and implementation of more optimal attitudes for spacecraft’s thermal safety and operational efficiency.

Manage Gitlab code repositories and commission new code builds for new vehicle and payload capabilities after presenting changes to CCB’s.

Responsible for analyzing real-time and historical telemetry to support real-time mission control and system diagnostics.

Streamlined testing of mission components through Python-based simulations and hardware testing, ensuring future mission readiness and adherence to safety protocols.
