One year of Property Fix 247 Ltd..

And what a year. I've been working around the block management sector for about 30 years. 29 of those have been hard work, constant battles, ups and downs but mostly downs!

When we set up Property Fix we changed everything, all that i learnt over the last 30 years suddenly meant something and we basically did the opposite of what we had done previously.

Been a very busy and productive day today.

Lovely conversations today with couple of new and existing clients discussing #reactivemaintenance and #out of hours services. I really love talking to new clients and explaining what we do, im like a kid in a sweetshop, the excitement i get from speaking to clients is crazy... i just seem to get in a flow and the passion comes through, i am just so proud of where we are and what we have built with PropertyFix 247.

We are a genuine nationwide 24 hours reactive maintenance company, call us at 6pm, 10pm or 2am and someone will answer and deal with your call, thats someone who works directly for us.

I'm right in the city center and it certainly busy, lots of people around. Cold here but at least its dry for the moment.

Very productive meeting with a good client this morning, discussing our reactive maintenance and out of hours services, a client who wants to use us more so a good start.

Looking forward to lunch with Phil Bird  and then an afternoon meeting before heading across the East Anglia for a site visit tomorrow.

1st Day of December so without pointing out the obvious less than 4 weeks until Christmas... are you ready?

Our team had a busy weekend, around 90 calls outs from Friday to Sunday all across the country. As usual all jobs attended and all reports sent over to clients either overnight or this morning.

At Property Fix 247 we do what it says on the tin... fix properties 24 hours a day. We have our own in house helpdesk so when you call you speak to our team and we instruct our operatives across the country to attend and either repair or make safe as needed.

After a busy weekend the weeknights are busy as well now, with the colder weather and some rain in areas we are seeing more jobs each night.

Not an issue as the helpdesk and ops out and about across the country are ready and waiting for the jobs to come in.

I am off to Manchester tomorrow, a meeting with a fellow contractor to compare notes on the industry before meeting a client for lunch.

Rest of the week is tied up with meetings and Christmas events before we head into another busy weekend.

Set up on the train to Manchester..

Currently updating Dwellant and going through out of hours jobs from last night, getting updates over to our clients before they start work.

I am looking forward to a day and night in Manchester, couple of meetings and a lunch with a client. One of the things i enjoy the most is getting out and about and meeting with colleagues in the industry, clients new and existing and suppliers, you cant beat face to face.

Quite a few jobs covered last night, the last one coming in around 2am this morning. Everything was attended with one being dealt with later this morning at the residents request.

Lots going on at the moment and loving the busy days (and nights), the winter and especially the holiday season is when we really get to show what we do, covering all of the country 24 hours a day is always a challenge, getting the right people to the right locations in the timeframe needed..

A busy Friday night for our helpdesk and engineers. First job came in at around 4.30pm and the last overnight one around 3am.

All jobs actioned and the majority of reports sent, the beauty of having a helpdesk working 24 hours means that information can be obtained and sent out as it arrives back from the engineers rather than waiting for the next day.

Our team are ready for the day ahead and whatever comes our way.

From a blocked toilet, a leak, a broken door or an electrical issue, whatever the trade, whatever the location we have the ability to attend 24 hours a day.

I seem to be attracting clients at the moment..

not a bad thing and i have never really attracted much during my life 😂

but attracting clients is a result of what we are achieving in the reactive maintenance and OOH world.

I had an hour long call today with a potential client and she commented on my passion for what we do... and i am very passionate about it, i love it. I enjoy 99% of what we do day in and day out. Delivering maintenance services 24 hours a day nationwide is a challenge but when you do it and get that report to the client its a small win, we do that over and over and the result is 100s of call outs a week and 100s of small wins as i like to call them.

When you call us we will always answer no matter the time and we will always get someone to site even if its 3am. Having a team in place to follow our process from taking the initial call to sending back a completed report has taken time to perfect and there is always some learning but we are pretty much in the best position we have ever been in. We keep it simple, we don't do anything outside our comfort zone and don't commit to long projects,  we have found our niche and want to just continue to provide a reliable service for our clients across the country.
