  Whilst at the Scottish Daily Express I gained great experience in working and negotiating with major clients in the recruitment field. Many of those clients who had
never used the Express before became major advertisers with one in particular spending in excess of £120,000 from June - December 2000. In order to achieve this I was involved
solely in the initial contact, the building of the relationship and finally the negotiation and execution of the sale. My call rate was also the highest in the office on a regular basis, with an average of 4 - 41/2 hours on calls daily.
