In mid-2022 I was faced with a dilemma. Should I continue along the corporate path I had trodden for many years, or should I venture out on my own? I was fortunate to have had a career that provided a wealth of opportunities. I had gained valuable knowledge through diverse experiences including acquisitions, turnarounds, large capital investments, and system implementations. I had worked in both growth situations and mature cash-generating businesses. I was privileged to have worked with some amazing people along the way. However, something was missing. I increasingly found myself asking who I was benefiting. I struggled to see how my efforts were benefiting the livelihoods of others. This realization was the spark to start something new.
