System Engineer / Scrum Master

Worked as a Nuclear Surety Engineer and Systems Engineer for the Strategic Missile Defense group under the Systems Engineering Integration Team (SEIT). Interacted with customers bi-weekly on Nuclear Surety Topics to ensure program alignment in the program.
	Supported MBSE efforts with the Systems Architecture group using Cameo and utilizing AFMANs/AFIs to meet program needs and nuclear certification for PDR/SDRL Deliveries in an agile driven environment
	Supported requirements updates/development using DOORS in support of SDRL deliverables and technical interchange meetings (TIMs) with customer(s)
	Supported the Proposal and Business Development groups to collect, analyze, and produce Bill of Materials for new contract win by working across teams to develop new concepts for future bid 
	Supported SEIT & Project Engineering with integrated master schedule updates to mitigate risk from slips in program & ensure successful system design reviews for program execution

Systems Engineer - Nuclear Surety Engineer

Supported Materials Test Lab (MTL) in Quality Mission and Success (QMS) through mechanical & chemical testing with shelf life verification and testing. Quality assurance through ISO 9001 and SAE 9100 in a machine shop & lab environment. LM Green Belt Certified.
•	Conducted X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) testing on electronic parts for verification of Tin -Lead concentrations and to eliminate Pure Tin from production line to prevent whisker failures for missile programs; mitigated 1-2 failures quarterly. Materials Review Board exposure with QNote creation & Training.
•	Collaborated with Quality Records Group in QMS to help document, catalogue, and upload classified paperwork;  achieved a 50% backlog reduction in 3 months.
•	Led Kaizen event with Production Operations by facilitating event, creating new process flow for all incoming material, and completing presentation for senior management; impacting approximately 2000 employees. Also facilitated Kaizen with Software Quality to revamp and innovate Quality Knowledge System for new hires. 
•	Completed Safety Audits for MTL & created work area qualification plans and identified Foreign Object Detection (FOD) areas for all QMS Labs at MFC. 
•	Drove end-to-end wet tape adhesion testing of production paint coupons for missile programs. Trained new hires on test methods & audits personnel work. Mitigated 3-6 failures quarterly.
•	Supported Lufkin Receiving Inspection/Operations in reducing production backlog. Reduced 600 item backlog by over 50% within a month. Used Root Cause Analysis to complete testing & quality verification. 
•	Supports Talent Acquisition in Talent Recruitment at conferences to promote/recruit a diverse workforce with MFC BRGs
Conducted Special Process Audits and evaluation of purchased parts and re-validation of materials/components to ASTM/other specifications to the manufacturing process
