In 2015, TekSystems was dropped as a supplier to Microsoft. I moved from TekSystems to Apex Systems until I transitioned to a FTE positoin with Microsoft. During that time I was a Quality Engineer developing testing infrastructure and processes.

SDET, Contract (Microsoft XBLPET) Sep 2010 – Jun 2015
 
Designed and built C# test automation infrastructure and simulation tools to quickly evaluate all critical paths and validate every stage of the ETL process. Created actionable bugs and assisted development team to quickly RCA and fix issues. Added reporting to validation infrastructure and to make signoff decsion. Continuing to improve and expand test coverage and depth as product evolved. 

Worked with PM and Dev teams to define and improving QA and Release processes. Began transitioning Test and QA tools and responsiblities to Dev team in 2013 and shifted to Quality/Data Engineering role after Test and QA transition was finalized. 

SDET, Contact (Starbucks) Jan 2010 – Jul 2010 

Built and documented C# ETL test automation to validate ingress and egress of forecasting and scheduling data from Starbuck retail stores around the world. Data was stored and processed by Oracle and Kronos Time and Attendance system. 

SDET, Contract (Washington Dental Association) Apr 2009 – Nov 2009 

Built and documented C# ETL test automation to validate ingress of dental insurance claims and egress of the adjudication process results and HIPAA / EDI compliance for Washington Dental Association. 

SDET, Contract (Wizards of the Coast) Apr 2008 – Apr 2009 

Used C# to create a suite of automation tests for validating online entitlements and single sign components for Wizards of the Coast Dungeons and Dragons online presence.
