My time as an IT Professional spans 20+ years both in the retail and government sectors where I have supported and architected solutions for personal, small business and government departments. During my career I have performed in roles ranging from that of an IT Support Technician for both personal and small business use through to client support and systems support providing solutions to 7 different State Government departments with broad requirements for their IT environments. My most recent specialisation and passion has been within the modern work category for the past 10 years where I have designed, implemented and supported Messaging, Collaboration, Modern Device Management, Identity and Security solutions using Microsoft 365. In the collaboration space, this included the implementation, migration, adoption and ongoing support of Skype for Business/Skype for Business Online and Microsoft Teams. This space was quite broad and consisted of meeting room layout and design using Microsoft Teams Room devices, room booking solutions, Microsoft Surface Hub implementation, live production delivery for both in-house and remote offsite broadcasting events, webinars bringing presenters together from across the state and in some cases, across the world. I also implemented the Microsoft Teams telephony and AWS Connect for some of our customer centres. This space has also covered the administration and design of our SharePoint Online sites, Shifts, Bookings, Viva employee applications, Approvals, Power Automate, Streams, Forms, PowerBI, Planner, To-do as well as other Microsoft and 3rd party applications brought in to Microsoft Teams. In the email and messaging space, this included our departments implementation, migration and support from Microsoft Exchange On-Premises services to Exchange Online. Yammer Community design and adoption has been a passion of mine over the past couple of years connecting our internal and cross-departmental communities spanning geographical boundaries around the state. While I am a co-founder of Morning Ritual Cacao (a small online retail and wholesale company), I am following my passion to partner with small and upcoming businesses to support them as they look to grow their digital workspace while allowing them to securely work from anywhere. The driving mission behind Roam 365 is allowing business to happen from anywhere.
