I have a strange background: At 22 years old, I was an English major at a party school and not sure what I was going to do with my life. A year later, thanks to strategic networking, I was writing the President's words at the White House. After working as a Writer in the Clinton White House, I went on to serve as a Speechwriter in the California Governor's Office during the Davis Administration. I was also a practicing lawyer in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay area, and I started the Smart Business Revolution podcast in 2011. Before long, I was generating more revenues from the podcast and associated blog than I did from my legal practice, so I became a full time entrepreneur and haven't looked back. My writing has appeared in Forbes, Lifehacker, The Huffington Post, Business Insider, Art of Manliness, Entrepreneur and many more.
