I’ve recently noticed a surge in AI-generated comments on LinkedIn posts.

And I confess, I’ve tried it myself. 

I wouldn’t say I liked it, it felt cheap and spammy. 

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS ON AI COMMENTING.

Creating content on LinkedIn is great, over the past months I’ve really enjoyed meeting new people, reading great content, expanding my network, and growing my business. 

Relationship building and social selling! 

But I’m seeing more and more AI-generated engagement. 

Have we reduced all of this to meaningless outreach?

So I’m left wondering, 

WHAT HAPPENED TO BUILDING A COMMUNITY?

WHAT HAPPENED TO BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH SUPPORT AND ENGAMENT?

Here's my request:

If you have the inclination to leave an AI comment on my posts, DON'T BOTHER.

My goal is to build a human-engaged community by giving value and attracting people who can benefit from what I have to share. 

If that’s not for you, there’s no need to be here.

Think of how many situations you experience in a day where you have preconceived notions of what's going to happen. 

"She's going to say this", "He's going to do that", "they are going to think that..."

All stories that you construct before anything happens!

Reality is the stories that we tell ourselves.

Every human observation is different, it's not what's out there, but how we perceive things that gives meaning.

That's why when you change the way that you look at the world, the world changes.

Or to make that statement more personal, when you change the way you look at yourself, you change! 

Stop habitually repeating the same stories in your mind and create new ones - That align with what you want to experience.

I took a two-week break from LinkedIn.

And this is what happened...

Absolutely nothing! 

Social sellers, networkers, and LinkedIn addicts, this is for you. 

I was burnt out, I couldn't face it, so I scheduled 10 posts and left. 

And:

* LinkedIn still shared my posts
* People still engaged
* My LinkedIn universe didn't collapse around me
* I didn't give my energy to any of it

It has shown me that: 

* I'm in control, I control the algorithm, not the other way around. 
* You can post and ghost 
* You can let go
* There is life beyond social selling

This is my conclusion: 

If you lead with integrity, if you give value, and if you are genuine, you have nothing to worry about. 

I'm truly grateful to the people who engage with my content, who support me here, and who have become a valued part of my online community. 

And this is what I've taken from my break. 

* It's not about how many impressions I can get
* It's not about how many new followers I can add
* It's not about activity I can encourage 

From now on I will be doing less, but I will be achieving more because I will be doing it with higher quality and intention. 

And the benefit of this is that I'll have energy left to spare to create a healthy work / life balance.

95% of your thoughts, feelings, and actions are habitual. 

No conscious effort is required. 


That means almost everything you do is on autopilot. 

Your habits are a part of a subconscious program called a paradigm. 

They integrate into your thinking and your behavior.

This is why paradigms control everything in your life, and why it’s essential to learn how to shift them when they are not producing the results that you want. 

We can only change one or two habits at a time, and this is where most people go wrong. 

They try to create too much change all at once. 


This is why I recommend taking one habit that is not serving you and choosing a new one that would move you toward your goal to replace it. 

That singular focus is powerful, and once it has become a habit, it becomes automatic and you can move on to the next. 

Here are a couple of tips to supercharge the process.

1: Visualise the new habit or behavior, see yourself doing it in your mind. 

2: Create an affirmation statement that supports the new behavior and keep repeating it to yourself. 

3: Make every effort to actually perform the new behavior.

It’s a simple discipline that works 100% of the time.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY

And yes, that is a massive chicken burger!



That's 49 years...

So I thought I would share my list of the top 49 life lessons I've learned!

Only joking (I haven't learned that many),

But here's one...

And that is - we have been gifted the power of choice. 

Where you are now is the result of the life choices you made up to this point. 

Where you will be next year is the result of the choices you are making now.

And where you will be in 10 years will be the result of the choices you are going to make. 

That's it. 

I'm taking a holiday. 


I'll be back in two weeks. 

After spending the best part of 8 months meeting new people, enrolling new clients, enjoying great content, and feeling part of a high-value community, while building my Linkedin presence, we seem to be going through a phase of low-grade spammy AI-driven engagement. 

I want to let you know that I appreciate all those people who take the time to share their knowledge and expertise and interact with genuine authenticity. 

I'll continue to schedule posts with content that provides value to the best of my ability, but in the meantime, I'll be taking a break from engagement.

We moved to Mallorca.


And it was a great decision.

Everyone wants to be aligned with their highest values.

That’s what brings happiness, satisfaction, and contentment.

It’s what makes us feel good. 


My highest values are based on freedom.

* I want to have enough money to not have to worry about money and to be able to enjoy the good things of life (without holding back).

* I want to have time and location freedom. I love my work but I want it to be on my terms. 

* I want to be surrounded by wonderful people, amazing clients, and positive friends and family. 

* I want to provide a service that makes a difference in people's lives. 


I’ve used the principles that I teach to create a life that I want, on my terms.

I still have many bad days, but I can deal with them because if learned how to control my mind, and that is what makes the difference. 

You are a creative being, and you are creating 100% of the time. 

Unfortunately, most people are unconsciously creating things that they don’t want to experience. 

Thinking Into Results is what I use, and what I teach to master control of the  ‘monkey mind’ and create the results that you want in life.

The ideas that we accept about ourselves define who we are.

And that is what determines our habitual thought. 

We think the same things over and over and this forms mental pathways. 

These mental pathways then impact actions and ultimately results. 

Breaking free from these ‘inner highways’ is the key to personal change. 

Are you willing to change those ‘patterns’ and start filling your mind with thoughts of deservingness, success, and achievement?

Because until you do you will struggle to achieve your goals. 

Take control of the direction in which your mind is traveling because ultimately this is the direction your life will go.

What is the biggest hurdle that you are facing right now? 

And how long has it been an obstacle in your path to success?


The obstacles that we face are a result of our perception of them and how we act concerning them.

These perceptions and behaviors are controlled directly by programs running unconsciously in the subconscious mind called 'paradigms'.

They operate based on belief systems, and particularly around what you accept as true about yourself i.e. self-image or concept.

Learning how to identify, and remove negative programs (or paradigms) and replace them with new empowering patterns is the way to remove those obstacles. 


"Thinking Into Results" is a system of principles, that once internalized become a new way of thinking, a part of your mindset, and a predictable process for creating new subconscious programs.

Once a subconscious pattern is installed it will control all results, perceptions, and behaviours relating to that pattern. 

Or in effect, your results will align with the new pattern.

That's why it's important to recognize that these obstacles are a reflection of unconscious aspects of your mindset and that overcoming them has to be a result of 'inner work'.

Otherwise, they just keep repeating, which I'm sure you've experienced. 

You can't just 'power' your way through.

Once you recognize why you are experiencing resistance, it becomes a simple process of removing it to move forward.

It’s easy to focus on the things that drive us to distraction. 

Bills, people, situations, 

But that’s the lazy option. 

Take negative a thought as a signpost. 

Look to its polar opposite and focus on that. 

That’s not the lazy thing to do, but it’s what you must do. 

Don’t give energy to the things you don’t want. 

Look at negative thoughts like weeds in your garden, as soon as you recognize one, pull it up.

Starting a business requires a shift in mindset.

It’s listening to your conscious mind for instructions, and following them. 

Most people are not in control of their conscious thinking. 

They allow sense impressions to dictate the ideas they entertain.

And it’s obvious to see why, but it’s fatal! 

People who learn to control their conscious thinking are the ones who go on to set the benchmark.


You cannot give your subconscious mind positive instruction when you are allowing negative thoughts to affect you. 

Burn this statement into your mind:

WHATEVER IS IMPRESSED IS EXPRESSED.

Why would I tell you this? 


I went from tennis player, to coach, to helping elite performance players work on their mindset, to becoming an entrepreneur and starting a business.

99% of your belief system is BS. 

Here’s why…

When I was 8 years old, I wanted music lessons at school. 


The teacher gave me a test and told me to identify the pitch of different notes.

How was I supposed to know that???

I failed the test and was told that I had no aptitude for music. 

Fast forward to 2014

A song that I wrote and composed was selected to be the ‘official’ soundtrack for advertising in Latin America for an international festival.

No aptitude for music???

Luckily I paid no attention and followed my passion anyway, but what if I had listened?

What am I trying to say? 

Virtually all of your negative beliefs about yourself are based on misguided comments, taken to heart, that you have accepted as true. (Mostly as a child).

Most of these beliefs amount to nothing more than other people's unqualified opinions, that you were not mentally equipped to reject at the time. 

This is how 99% of your belief system, self-image, and personality are formed. 

Now it’s your turn.

What ideas have you accepted about yourself as true that are BS?
