When I was 5 I painted pine cones and sold them to my neighbours π¦π» Later I took $1,000 and turned it into an ecommerce portfolio company doing 8 figures in revenue. My life mission is to enable entrepreneurs around the world. How did I get here? π Growing up I moved every 6 - 12 months. π I didn't do well in school and changing schools once or twice every school year made it a bit more difficult to the point where I dropped out in grade 10. π° I spent my tween and teenage years buying and selling on Craigslist. π¦ When I was 22 I dropped out of university a week before class began and launched an Auto and Marine Detailing business. You can read about it here - https://bit.ly/3NQKofn πΊπ¬ When I was 23 I moved to Uganda to start a nutraceutical company. At the same time, I created one of the fastest-growing fitness classes in the country. You can read about it here - https://bit.ly/3DRXF2S π§π»βπ» When I was 26 I learned to code, won an app development award and placed first in a provincial app development competition. π When I was 27 my wife and I started building ecommerce stores and joined Shopify together. π When I was 29 my life was too comfortable so my wife and I quit Shopify, sold everything we owned and started a company called Leave Comfort - www.leavecomfort.com π With a one-way ticket and zero experience in content creation, we travelled around the world creating content for brands and 5-star resorts. π¨π¦ When I was 30, I realized I didn't like travelling as much as I thought I would and moved back to Vancouver, started a dropshipping store with $1,000 with my now business partner Matteo Grassi. That tiny dropshipping store became an 8-figure commerce portfolio company comprising several brands selling in over 100 countries. βοΈ After that I founded a start-up called Popup, raised millions in capital and spent several years building an end-to-end commerce platform. These are my 5 life commandments π 1. Define what you value and build your life around that 2. There is no 1 path to success 3. Solving problems creates problems 4. What you think is crazy is normal for others 5. Hard is relative Entrepreneurship is an infinite journey and everyone's path is different. Dream big and enjoy the process πͺ
