Senior Consultant

With 10+ years of experience as a speech-language pathologist and 8+ years as an actuary, I am passionate about creating innovative data-driven solutions that improve clinician outcomes and care team experiences in therapeutic rehabilitation. I am the founder and CEO of SMARTCharts, a startup that offers data-tracking and visualization tools for speech, occupational and physical providers and supports patients of all ages on their learning and recovery journies.

SMARTCharts is a rehabilitation tracker for therapy that translates the technical progress notes, measurements, and timelines into images that inspire success. Through data-tracking and note-taking tools, SMARTCharts bolts onto EMRs and helps healthcare professionals monitor and communicate progress, motivate and engage their clients, and optimize patient experience through recovery journey storytelling. I have applied my analytical skills, consulting experience, and domain knowledge to develop and validate SMARTCharts, and I am currently participating in the NSF Innovation Corps Fall 2023 Program to support our full SBIR proposal later this year.
