Santa Fe’s Investment Club

I developed and utilized curricula for my Investment Club to educate students about the backbone of business by explaining balance sheets, income, stockholders’ equity and cash flow statements. The materials I gave applies technical and fundamental analysis to evaluate stock worthiness.

Teacher at Santa Fe College

The components of this organization involved explaining current events in relation to the economy, using a faux stock trading game, exploring different elements of stocks, and watching documentaries. It also included guest speakers, such as a former Senior Vice President Head of Listings for the NYSE, start-up CEOs, among others.

As the VP of Santa Fe Women in Computer Science, I taught members programming necessities for stock market app creation and encouraged the pursuit of quantitative analysis. Additionally, there were guest speakers, such as the President of Stanford WiCS, the President of Archer Solutions Partners, LLC, among others.

–	Gave insight about companies on the secondary market using technical analysis

–	Investment/trade research

–	Preparation of presentations using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

–	Projections, valuation, modeling, industry and financial analysis

I also wrote a research paper on innovation for investors to watch for in 2022 pertaining to new developments in cryptocurrency mining and the growing differential use for artificial intelligence.

I coordinated and planned with the CEO to ensure the nonprofit’s goals were met for social media outreach, specifically Instagram. I increased the follower count by almost 450% by establishing a coherent theme. My work promoted coderGirls as an international nonprofit.

Gaynor Minden, Inc. is the first company to utilize innovative technology, such as polymers, to customize shoes for ballet dancers. I was involved in pointe shoe development for domestic and international sales. I tested prototypes and provided analysis of complicated fit issues while critiquing functionality and always keeping an eye on the streamlined appeal.

Product Development

I graduated as an honors student and received an AA in accounting from Santa Fe College. I transferred to University of South Florida to obtain a BS in accounting, earn a Master’s, and become a CPA.
