I collaborate with entrepreneurs, organizations, and communities to design, build, and drive innovative solutions that address social and economic challenges. I leverage my expertise in economic development, entrepreneurship, and strategy to identify opportunities, connect partners, and secure funding for impactful companies and projects. I am the founder and CEO of Plaka + Associates, a consulting firm that helps innovators build companies and programs that shape talent, community, and industry ecosystems. As a founder and a former owner of a venture studio, I led the incubation and growth of pioneering initiatives and startups, turning ideas into profitable ventures. I specialize in strategic planning, mentorship, and building collaborative ecosystems. Additionally, I founded VentureVets, a military-community entrepreneurship program under Community Development Resources, a 501c3 that provides resource development and capacity building for community leaders. I have an MA in International Political Economy from the Brussels School of International Studies and two certifications from the International Economic Development Council. Above all, I am passionate about supporting the military community and philanthropic causes.
