Developing the Latin American markets and working together with local sales management to unlock potential and letting our clients grow with excellent promotions.

Responsibilities include:

•	Together with local management develop the market; map potential markets and clients, create proactive proposals, find the right product/mechanic vs. client combination, support local sales offices in complex analytics on ROI, turnover growth, cash flow development, commercial promotion set-up
•	Development of business intelligence and data analytics for LATAM clients, including SKU/transactional data analysis for concept of proof, consumer growth/retention and client or segment targeting with the ultimate goal to develop business through data insights

Head of Business Development and Risk Management LATAM

Responsible for Business Intelligence and Analytics within the Sourcing Entity of BrandLoyalty when it concerns our (strategic) product portfolio in connection to our business and (potential) clients.

Key areas include:

• Portfolio management (brand and category, find the right client-category combinations)
• Advanced analytics (setting up simulations for new products and categories, sequential marketing, competitor analysis)
• Lead management (pushing/challenging sales to use certain categories, products or concepts, taking the lead in setting up the right offer for our clients, setting-up work groups and project teams for leads generation on focus product ranges)
• Stock and risk management (stock, item retention, profitability)
• Responsible for the development of the Brazilian market from both a sales and sourcing perspective (in corporation with local general management)

Biggest achievement: implementing new procedures and tools that enabled sales together with category management to increase sales from stock by 20% (including 50%+ more sales leads in specific focus ranges).

Sourcing Operations Manager

Responsible for the integral implementation of SAP Business Objects within BrandLoyalty, including functional designs of data streams and reporting. Executed with our partner ENSIOR in Utrecht.

Key areas include:

• Managing, implementing and embedding SAP Business Objects within BrandLoyalty on a continuing basis together with the SAP BO project team and Board members.
• Acting as centre of Excellence on SAP Business Objects, including providing training for SAP BO users and key-users
• Develop strategic analysis and (KPI-)reports on promotion and client performance, sales and sales development, corporate and sourcing finance, logistics and supply chain, sourcing and purchasing (acting as lead developer and designer)

Biggest achievement: full implementation of 15 strategic KPI reports that are widely used within BrandLoyalty (ranging from Finance, Supply Chain, Sales to Sourcing)

Project Manager SAP Business Objects

Managing various local sales offices with setting up promotional offers and managing business risks. Responsible for Brazil, Italy and Germany.

Key areas include:

• Supervise, train and coach a team of two commercial business analysts (2 FTE)
• Design and implement Retail Loyalty Programs (mechanics, CRM data, market insights data)
• Consult and support sales offices globally when preparing commercial proposals, promotion set-up and program performance (in terms of product portfolio, pricing-issues, client-market combination, competitor analysis etc.)
• Optimize profitability on loyalty promotion by analyzing commercial set-up, reviewing costs, selecting the right products and simulate promotion outcome
• Execution of specific retailer projects such SAS2, forecasting tools and supply chain performance monitoring

Responsibilities:

•	Board Member, responsible for BI strategy Imperial Tobacco Netherlands
•	Responsible for subdivisions Market and Consumer Insights and Business Analytics
•	Setting-up/Managing the Business Intelligence Department (6 FTE)
•	Designing, setting up and implementing of the management information structure and systematic for effective reporting (including determining information needs, organizing of workshops and cross-departmental combining of reports).   
•	Business planning and forecast (budget) process execution within deadlines and against set quality standards (including setting up and maintain the budget- and forecast work processes within Imperial Tobacco) – these included Latest Estimates (LE) and operational forecasting (SOP).
•	Developing and reporting of KPI’s in order to track and monitor the company goals and targets and/or initiating corrective actions if required (of various departments and stakeholders, on strategic, tactical and operational level).

Responsibilities:

•	Key account manager for large accounts (i.e. SBM offshore). 
•	Daily management of the Parts & Service inside sales department (14 FTE – product specialists, parts sales, service sales, administration and data management). 
•	Developing, implementing and executing more efficient working processes for quotation and order processing, hours registration of field engineers/ workshop engineers and measuring effectiveness of the outside sales force.
•	Responsible for all sales analyses, CRM and KPI reports within the parts & service department (including maintaining data quality/integrity of the CRM system, developing new reports derived from the CRM system on quotation follow-up, visits analysis, customer-targeting and proactive analysis on visits pay-back time, quotation hit-ratios and product portfolio).
•	Designing, developing and implementing of a web based business intelligence tool “SMILE” (which combines data from ERP, CRM, outside sales and market data).
•	Cooperating with global IT on the development of sales related KPI models (Accelerator, Global Installed Base, ACE performance agreements) including advising and evaluating other sales companies in the use of these models.
•	Co-ownership of the implementation of a new ERP system One4ALExtended, specifically all working processes on service/repairs and outside sales.

Responsibilities:

•	Daily management of the inside sales department and service/operations department (11 FTE – product specialists, service engineers, parts sales, service sales). 
•	Compiling and executing of various sales activities (acquisition, creating quotations, quotation and documentation follow-up, account management, supplying support for outside sales with special projects and project follow-up, generating sales leads, implementing new products, solving issues on service and maintenance, solving credit issues and following up on customer satisfaction surveys).
•	Developing and implementing a new improved KPI model with Balance Score Card functionality (new business/new customer development, quotations pipeline, personal KPI’s etc.)
•	Maintaining data integrity of the CRM tool Maximizer including stimulating and promoting its use, and keeping core date / MDM up to date.
•	Creation and implementation of the website www.burkert-cabinets.com (a web shop for control cabinets with pneumatics for the process industry) – this website is still online.
•	Creation and implementation of a web based CRM application Avanos for the Spanish sales division – a complete business case (or demonstration) is available on request.

Key-account manager at Shell Pernis/Shell Moerdijk (100%). Responsible for the roll out of the local supply / purchasing-agreement within Shell concerning valves and valves accessories. Main tasks : keeping track of sales, budget, forecast, stock control, measuring and reporting delivery-time and quality performances, proposing and executing possible cost-savings, annual price-negotiations, creating and implementing new more efficient methods concerning product-combinations (or further product standardization).
