Inside Sales Manager

After being promoted from the warehouse and loading dock (2011 – 2013) I coordinated between departments to maximize each truckload and delivery route, which was integral to the success of our logistics.  In this role I was responsible for directing the loads in and out of our warehouse to minimize the amount of trucks used and to ensure each load was leaving the warehouse full.
•	I was in constant communication with warehouse staff, drivers and customers to ensure timely deliveries were being made and correct product was on all routes
•	I created excel reports to track shipping errors, damages and customer credits that was analyzed to coach and optimize all departments involved
•	I initiated a change in the process of creating route maps that allowed the driver to have influence on the run based on geography and store abilities
•	Loading and shipping errors were decreased by 23% in 7 months after introducing these changes

Transportation Coordinator

Responsible for selecting orders for various customers. Accountable to achieve several KPI's including productivity, efficiency, accuracy, quality of selection, shrink management and health and safety. Was also responsible for loading trucks for several months in which my responsibilities included creation and delegation of truck loading maps, practice efficient and safe loading procedures, accurate loading and dock area maintenance. Worked amongst a team of 25+ and learned to develop a strong team workplace.

I managed a team that ranged from 5 – 20 employees depending on project size.  I handled the daily interactions with the site supers or property managers at each location.  I trained each new employee on the use of the equipment and how to perform each task. Performed safety checks and trained the employees on safety regulations.
•	In my first two years the company’s client list doubled from 25 – 50 weekly customers based on word of mouth and relationship building with property managers  
•	Managing employees that were my senior was the hardest challenge I faced on a consistent basis.  I overcame this by showing them I was willing to get my hands dirty and by never asking them to do something I wasn’t willing to do myself
