I develop product visions, roadmaps and backlogs to develop products and services that meet users needs. Reporting to the Managing Director, I led and managed the vision, strategy, roadmap & development of Jersey Post’s digital start-ups - Jersey Post Digital/Vaiie. I was part of the founding team and amalgamated the two brand into one and repositioned the proposition to focus on regulatory technology sales.

I collaborated with global development teams & business partners to design & deliver new products & features. I developed & managed the product-level strategies, go-to-market plans, positioning, messaging & all elements related to the business cases. I constantly looked to discover product opportunities & enhancements that were valuable, usable & feasible. 

I facilitated & coordinated idea generation & input from stakeholders, team members & development partners, & developed deep user insights, knowledge & expertise to envision solutions & opportunities.

I worked with skilled UX & tech teams to test reaction to product enhancements, & collaborated with key business partners & clients to ensure alignment with key business priorities. 

I was accountable for monitoring product performance & maximising their impact to increase service usage, & collaborate with stakeholders to develop & communicate comprehensive release plans. I communicated complex user insights daily; presented summary findings to appropriate stakeholders & team members; & incorporated applicable user findings & trends into the business plan & each business case & strategy. 

I continuously researched, monitored & analysed emerging digital topics & trends to assess & make recommendations on future direction, & provided leadership for the team by supporting their development, as well as deploying & using best practices to measure, understand & optimise the success of each product.

I provided leadership & guidance for change & led development of all HSBC Expat’s digital direct channels (on browser, mobile & tablet) in line with the Digital & Retail Banking & Wealth Management strategies. My role heavily focused on digital channel strategy, innovation & business product ownership & management. I led a range of flagship digital projects & programmes that the strategy, vision, & direction for HSBC Expat’s transactional banking channels were based on. I also provided expert advice & consultations throughout the process to meet stakeholders’ needs at a global, European, & local level.

I was responsible for the delivery & performance of the direct channels’ sales targets, as well as ensuring all financial & functional targets are achieved. I was also responsible for initiating changes & enhancements by defining new business requirements, creating concept papers & business cases to support recommendations to meet performance targets.

I worked closely with regional & Group teams to understand & influence global developments to ensure HSBC Expat customers’ needs are well supported by our direct channels & can benefit from Group initiatives.
