I'm Craig, founder of Troubadour, building the UK’s first dedicated product marketing consultancy for B2B SaaS tech. I've been a founding product marketer at several fast-growing VC-backed startups, including Beamery and Vizibl. I'm fortunate to have been part of the scale-up journey from seed through to larger growth-stage rounds.

Today I help B2B SaaS startups figure out their best-fit customers and create messaging that instantly clicks with buyers. We work with companies around the world backed by investors like Y Combinator, Octopus Ventures and LocalGlobe. I also advise early-stage founders on positioning & messaging and GTM strategy to help accelerate their journey to product-market fit.

When I'm not building Troubadour, I work on my stand-up comedy material to London audiences who feel relaxed enough to sleep.

Last year, I reflected on the reason I started Troubadour all the way back in 2021:

How can we make product marketing expertise accessible to more B2B startups?

I’ve seen firsthand how transformative great product marketing can be. The right positioning, the right narrative, at the right moment will move the dial on your GTM.

Over the past few years, we’ve partnered closely with ambitious founders across Europe and North America through 1:1 consulting engagements. Diving deep into their customers, markets, products, and their stories. This continues to be the heartbeat of Troubadour. It’s a privilege.

But I find myself asking: 

How can we take that impact further? How do we help even more startups at different points along the growth journey?

This year, I’m focussing on how we can shape the broader startup ecosystem:
