My passion is closing the gap between theory and application, knowing and doing, policy and practice, or the personal and the professional. I deliver workshops, lectures and coaching around the stories we hear, share and tell ourselves, to develop curiosity and confidence for more effective communication. My Masters Degree in Psychology & Theatre gave me a strong background in theory, then 30 years on stage gave the experience of applying it in Performance. Throughout those years I shared my expertise by teaching Drama and Theatre Arts at International Schools and then Amsterdam Hogeschool voor Kunst , which gave me deep understanding of experiential and student-centered learning. At the same time, I was engaged through Organisational Psychology Bureaus, HR, Learning & Development centers as a Training Actor in Role Play Assessments. I would be asked to give feedback and then return the next day to coach participants around a particular development point to get them to the next level in their communication skills. With all this ‘inside’ information, it was an easy step to write the scenarios that challenged critical decision-making and emotional intelligence skills, finally devising and delivering whole innovation programs for organizations and teams myself. Always maintaining a creative element, because of my artistic background. While having a family, I followed my love of physical expression and mastering the body, by retraining as a Physiotherapist and becoming an Aikido Sensei, to keep my sanity. I founded 'In Resonance' as my coaching practice to integrate all this information through a Mind-Body energy system. I work with professionals from IT, Legal, Finance, or anyone who struggles taking Strategic positions in customer and stakeholder Management, Team Lead, or Executive roles, to clarify the story you want to share with others, the story you tell yourself and how you want to embody your message and values. Most recently I bring the principles as Time To Think Facilitator to my Storytelling Workshops and Pitching Masterclasses, to insist on inclusivity, equality and appreciation of difference in all interactions, particularly when storylistening.
