Duties:
➡️ Work with Peer Support to oversee and coordinate volunteers on all Peer Support Schemes including Peer Mentoring, e-Mentors, Peer Assisted Learning

➡️ Collect and relay feedback to Peer Support, Academic Champion and volunteers

Peer Support Student Coordinator

I was responsible with completing transactions for the club, managing the club's budget and allocating it for the necessary activities and equipment. 

During my role, I managed to introduce creative ideas which helped increase the club's funds (e.g. organising bake sales during our events, which saw an extra 10% funds added to the usual total gathered from entry fees).

Treasurer- Table Tennis Club

As part of the sports events team, I was responsible for the event management of Derby County U23 Home Fixtures (Football) and Loughborough University First XI UCL Premier Division Home Fixtures (Football). My role was to enhance the quality of spectator experience, ensuring the smooth running of these events and analysing key areas as part of an ongoing event evaluation.

During my time with Alliance, I worked on a number of events (e.g. Glastonbury Festival 2019)

My activities included setting up the site before the event, guiding the customers and answering their queries. I was responsible for the client's safety and general event experience.

My role involved creating and delivering a media, marketing and communications plan for the Social Leagues programme. I was responsible for maintaining and updating Social Leagues social media on a daily basis including Facebook and Twitter. I also supported the League Coordinators in communicating with student teams and individuals via social media to keep them updated with their progress in the leagues.

Social Leagues Media, Marketing and Communications Coordinator

In this role, I was responsible with creating an event plan for the "Football Fest", one of the most successful Loughborough Sport events. The event incorporated different football activities, from a small sided tournament to bubble football, which aimed to encourage participation and enjoyment. My other tasks included collaborating with support staff on risk assessment, managing the event budget and leading a group of volunteers throughout the project.

Football Fest Event Manager

When I was only 18, I decided to challenge myself and leave Romania to attend university in the UK, without knowing anyone in advance. This experience has developed my resilience, adaptability, and ownership, which are the main traits that define me as a person. I enjoy pushing my limits and I am not afraid of taking on new challenges.

I achieved First Class Honours in International Business from Loughborough University, where I graduated in 2022. During my degree I also spent one year on placement with IBM, working in the People Operations team and supporting the Net Promoter Score for the UK & Ireland market. My placement has activated a thorough interest for business and technology, which I am now taking further as an Associate Business Consultant in IBM's graduate scheme. I aspire to add value in exciting projects, leveraging the limitless power of technologies like Cloud, AI or IoT.

I am always interested to learn more about how the mind works and how we can become better individuals through sport and meditation. I have a big passion for football, which has been my favourite sport since I was very young. I also enjoy travelling and reading detective novels.
