Grey-box - Free WiFi for Remote Communities

- Developed full-stack features for their portable Wi-Fi technology's mobile application using Java, PHP, JavasScript (jQuery, TypeScript), HTML and Bash scripting.                         
- Leveraged Python web scrapers to expand the start-up’s content database.                                                                                                             
- Coordinated sprint tasks and code deliveries with fellow interns using Slack, Github and CI/CD principles. 
- Wrote and executed the device’s hardware and software testing protocol to assess important performance metrics like CPU usage and user experience.
- Evaluated various streaming devices and their performance with respect to the minimum specifications of the mobile app.

Software Development and Hardware Verification Intern

- designed 4 digital/analog test boards for the payload of a satellite constellation using Diptrace. 
- reviewed and updated 2 flight boards and 2 power boards for a payload unit according to their ICDs with Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
- documented key tasks, roadblocks and the board design methodology using Jira and Confluence. 
- took the lead on the review of parts lists for the qualification model of an imaging satellite payload and ensured that the delivery schedule respects the manufacturing deadlines.

Hardware Engineering Intern

Prep Academy Tutors

- offer private tutoring services to students ranging from high school levels to university levels. 
- communicate and clarify concepts that the tutee has already seen, but in an effective fashion using personalized teaching methods. 
- follow up with the tutee regularly and coordinate with the teacher to make sure the material practiced during tutoring sessions correlates with the teacher's course outline and teaching philosophy. 
- prepare exercises and theoretical content that further solidify the tutee's understanding of a given topic; ultimately, the tutees I offered my services to felt over-prepared for their examinations. 
- prepare crash courses for a medium-sized audience (5-15) of tutees.
- engage the parents in the tutoring process and make them feel comfortable about choosing that service.

Science Tutor

Coteacher

- Developed & used a Python webscraper program to build 3 lists of 1000+ users in less than 2 weeks for targeted marketing campaigns, resulting in a 386% increase in lead generation. 
- Played an important role in the creation of written and visual content on the company's social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram), which contributed to a growth of 24 % of inbound traffic on Twitter over 10 weeks. 
- Set up the company's Hubspot account and trained teammates on best practices when using the platform. 
- Leveraged Zapier's Twitter integration to build a Twitter list of 1000+ prospects that are potential collaborators & users of the company's educational platform. 
- Created and carried out 5 email marketing campaigns with an average click-through rate of 22 %, which resulted in having 10+ educational micro-influencers join our user demo sessions and eventually become brand ambassadors.
- Designed and published Instagram filters on the company's account using Spark AR and Figma in order to increase user engagement with our content. 
- As a a result of my consistent performance, received a promotion as Community Engagement Manager halfway through the internship.

Software Development Intern

- rescinded  internship offer (Summer 2020)  in systems testing at CAE due to the COVID-19 situation. 

-main tasks would have consisted in : 
               1- developing automated tests in C/C++/LabView for the flight simulator panels ; 
               2- debugging panel software ; 
               3- configurating the input and output of  interface cards; 
               4- contributing to the improvement of electronic products and processes.
