I truly believe that words can change the world—the right words, deployed in the right way and at the right time to the right people. With this belief, it is may be no surprise that I like to live at the intersection of communication practice, engagement, and social justice. In addition to my work driving corporate communications to truly engage with stakeholders, I have authored numerous articles to highlight the work being done by various charities around the world: water wells and schools in Kenya and Rwanda, orphanages and food sustainability in Bolivia, housing and schools on Indigenous reservations in Alberta, and the list goes on. I have been the editor-in-chief of an award-winning national magazine advocating for international aid and humanitarian development and have written and edited just about anything that anyone has asked me to. I hold a Master's degree in Communications and Technology from the University of Alberta and am currently working in the post-secondary education sector.
