How much is your personal data worth on the dark web? According to a recent article by Nicole Nguyen, stolen data like credit card numbers can sell for as little as $6, while PayPal credentials go for $100, and crypto wallet logins can fetch up to $350. It's a stark reminder of how easily our sensitive information can be exploited. Thankfully, you don’t need to access the dark web to find out if your data is compromised. Here are the direct links to all the tools and services mentioned in the article for checking if your data has been compromised: >> Comment ‘pdf’ I’ll DM the list to you 1. I think X wants me to buy Premium, not so sure… Came on X after 3/4 years to see this first screen of them promoting Premium push, kinda unnecessary.
Google's AI Search Just Got Even More Ads... Google is testing ads inside its AI Mode, the conversational version of Search that tries to synthesize answers from multiple sources. Now, when you ask something like "how to build a website," you'll not only get an AI-generated response but also a sponsored ad, like one from Wix, right in the mix. The company is also expanding ads in AI Overviews, those summary boxes you see at the top of search results, to desktop users in the US. Expect more of these sponsored links to show up globally later this year. While Google says it’s being transparent by labeling these as "sponsored," it’s clear the company is keen on monetizing its AI search features—leaving us wondering: How much advertising is too much? Meta just unlocked a new ad playground..'Threads Ads' With the introduction of Threads Feed Placement, advertisers can now reach audiences directly on Threads, Meta’s fast-growing conversation app. It’s been auto-included in campaigns, and manual placement settings now offer Threads as an option. ✅ Also worth noting: To run Threads ads, advertisers will now need to create a dedicated Threads profile. 🚀 Meta seems to be moving full speed ahead to integrate Threads natively into the larger ad infrastructure. ☑️ Are you planning to test ads on Threads in your upcoming campaigns?
Unless you’ve been living under a rock… Apple just unveiled iOS 26 (earlier iOS 18) at WWDC — and yes, it came with a load of new features like: 🧠 Apple Intelligence (on-device AI) 📱 Genmoji and smarter emoji reactions 📞 Call Screening and Live Translations - which seems impressive 🎮 A brand new Games App 🧊 A stunning ‘Liquid Glass’ design overhaul 🎶 Apple Music AutoMix, Safari redesign, and so much more... But amidst all this fanfare, there’s one poor chap (app) that just never gets a makeover... 📸 The Photos app icon. From 2013 to 2025 — 12 years, 0 personality change 😋 While Samsung’s Photos app has gone through a full-blown identity crisis (in a good way?), Apple’s stuck with: “if it ain't broke, don’t fix it.” Is this brand consistency… or just graphic design laziness? #iOS26 #TechHumor
SC Ruling Makes Job-Hopping Tougher for Freshers In a landmark judgment, the Supreme Court of India has upheld the validity of employment service bonds, allowing companies to recover training costs if an employee exits prematurely. The case involved an ex-employee of Vijaya Bank who was asked to pay ₹2 lakh in liquidated damages for quitting before completing a three-year tenure. While the Karnataka HC had sided with the employee, the SC overturned that ruling on May 16, stating that such clauses do not violate contract law or public policy. This ruling can significantly reduce early attrition, especially in the IT & ITeS sectors, where "training bonds" for freshers are already the norm. Key Takeaways: Companies can enforce minimum tenures. Recoverable costs must be reasonable and quantifiable. Service bonds do not amount to a restraint of trade under Section 27 of the Indian Contract Act. As organizations invest heavily in training, this judgement could offer a stronger legal backing to ensure return on talent investment. BTW Are we calling this ROTI? Freshers, take note — that job offer may now come with more than just a notice period. Source: Mint
“This Ad jumped the topical bandwagon!”– source: Mint 📰 With our soldiers currently in the national spotlight, a brand and its agency decided to ride the patriotic wave. Topical? Yes. Impactful? Maybe. Clever or Cheap? That’s the real debate. In advertising, context is everything. At every moment — in every campaign — the decisions we make as marketers shape how our work is perceived and remembered. So, what’s your take? When does topical turn tactical… and when does it cross the line? #Advertising #TopicalMarketing #BrandStrategy #EthicalMarketing #PatriotismInAds
Repurpose with purpose… or draw 25? Too many marketing teams choose the hard way—creating new content from scratch every time. But smart marketers know better: ✅ Turn webinars into reels ✅ Blogs into carousels ✅ Reports into infographics Repurposing isn’t cutting corners—it’s maximizing impact. Don’t draw 25. Play smart. What’s your go-to repurposing trick?
🚨 Meta just dropped a bombshell for the ad world. They're working on fully automating ad creation using AI — everything from writing copy, making visuals, choosing targeting, to deciding where your ad runs. Yes, FULLY automated. No human needed. For us, this isn’t just another tool update — it’s a signal that Meta wants to own the entire ad workflow. So what happens to: ✅ Creative strategists? ✅ Media buyers? ✅ Copywriters and designers? They’re now facing a future where AI handles the grunt work — and maybe the smart work too. Because clients will soon ask: "Why pay an agency when Meta can do it all, instantly — and maybe better?" 📌 The future is not in resisting automation. 📌 It's in mastering it — guiding the AI, setting creative direction, and offering insight AI can’t fake. If you're in digital, it's time to upskill or risk getting left behind. Would love to hear how other performance marketers and founders are preparing for this shift. 👇 Source: https://lnkd.in/ggDHzv6M
Looking at this emailer by Zomato brought back an entire era in a single frame. There was a time when: ☑️ Orkut scraps were more valuable than emails ☑️ The original iPhone was a global marvel ☑️ Zomato wasn’t even around ☑️ Twilight had just hit the theatres ☑️ The concept of a global pandemic felt like fiction ☑️ GTA IV was the most anticipated release ☑️ And BBM was how many of us stayed connected Bengaluru has waited years for moments like this. And somewhere between those simpler times and today’s fast-paced lives, we’ve all grown, adapted, and changed. But some things never change — food continues to be how we celebrate. Well done, Zomato for not just selling cake, but serving up a slice of nostalgia.
🎙️ Vijay Mallya breaks his silence after 9 years — and it's through a 4-hour podcast with Raj Shamani. From a marketing point of view, this is a fascinating watch. Link - https://lnkd.in/dWz4Xyk3 Mallya doesn’t dodge questions. He addresses the loans, the headlines, the media narratives — all while maintaining a calm, almost polished tone that mirrors the persona he once built with Kingfisher. What stands out: > He refers to himself as the “brand ambassador of his own brand” — a reminder of how tightly Kingfisher was woven into his personal identity. > The podcast visuals are slick. Shot in London, edited for drama, and clearly designed to reframe Mallya’s narrative in a more humanised light. > The tone isn’t confrontational. It’s conversational, almost casual — and that’s what makes it work. It doesn't feel like a press conference or a redemption tour. > The comments are ‘flooded’ — some nostalgic, some angry, some supportive. But the engagement is undeniable. People are still curious. Podcast - 1, Boardroom - 0 & here’s the spoof video by TVF - just for laughs… https://lnkd.in/dx2s-x5u What are your thoughts on the podcast?
