A professional career that has spanned 10 years in California, 10 years in southeast Asia, 6 years in Colorado. Being my authentic self; the best human being I can be to my family, friends and colleagues. Diverse. Every life lesson I’ve had, regardless of outcomes, is the foundation of the very next ‘chapter’ in my life. My philosophy: The next customer is the one you are working for right now. Proud of earning a division one basketball scholarship, participating in college debate and graduating, I wanted another bold and exciting step to move forward the chapters in my life. I landed a job 2,072 miles away in California which led eventually to meeting at a conference table in the "Texaco Towers" in Los Angeles, helping resolve a multi-billion-dollar CA Title 23 underground fuel tank restoration project throughout the state with a private entity. Relationships made offered subcontract work for an AT&T/Nextel telecom build-out followed by being recruited to bolster a medium sized custom carpentry business during arguably the largest construction boom in US history. I learned about time and energy management, handling fiascoes, failing and criticism and learning to deal with it healthy. I celebrated and cherished the millions of dollars of contracts won and managed. Mostly, I'm fond of the bosses who lifted me to where I am today - Bold leaders almost mavericks, participative, stalwart conservatives, and motivators. What next? What everyone must do once in their life with or without kids. Move to a foreign country and learn to conquer uncomfortable. I lived successfully in southeast Asia for 10 years: negotiating relationships, jobs, language, politics, laws, contracts, visas and permits even during not one, but two coup d'états, and I got married. Today, I am the owner of Springhetti Custom Outdoor Living building "the cool stuff" and during my free time I’m Investing and dedicating energy, time and money into my own personal growth with supplemental course work, advanced management software program upkeep for continued successful business acumen - ready for new experiences solving problems with new faces, conquering with unique tools, loyalty and passion.
