I love the challenge of building startups and disrupting old industries. My ideal work place is: - Creating new technology - Disrupting an old antiquated industry - Bringing a top-notch customer experience - Working cross-functionally across departments - Working with data and experimenting on new channels - Learning new skills I graduated with a degree in Entrepreneurial Management….and without experience that degree isn't worth much. So I worked for E-Learning Brothers, joined the Crocker Innovation Fellowship, became a Ballard Scholar, worked for Epic Ventures, started a SEO Consulting Agency, and finally joined Neighbor.com as the 2nd employee before graduating college. At Neighbor I've had the chance to do many things: - Operationalize the early days - Build out and help manage our ad campaigns and SEO strategies - Launch markets across the nation in person - Launch OOH campaigns across multiple markets - Test out our Host and Renter Activation, prior to them becoming whole departments - Build our Commercial Business Development team - Build our Commercial Sales team - Work with our Product team to implement a whole new Commercial feature set - Worked cross-functionally on countless projects over the years - And test and track literally EVERY growth hacking idea in the book I'm currently continuing to run my SEO Consulting agency for select clients; I advise startups on growth; and have joined the After.com team as their Head of Growth Operations. Also, Side Hustles and Service Businesses are my jam! I love talking shop about building a side income. Outside of work, I love my family, my faith, the ocean, national parks, traveling, smoking all kinds of meat on the grill, and trying new restaurants. Family and Food are definitely some of the most important things in my life.
