Dalton K. Jensen 💭, MBA's Linkedin Analytics

My name is Dalton Kaimiikapono Jensen. My family is from Hawaii, though I was raised in Iowa. I attended college at Colorado State University for my undergraduate in Accounting and an MBA from SUU. This helped me put my organizational, technical, written, and verbal skills to the test and helped me improve overall! I grew up loving sports and anything outdoors. I've played almost every sport but excelled in football and wrestling. I love to help others, especially in business. I host a podcast called The Thinking Project. My mission is to help people overcome imposter syndrome and "analysis paralysis" to start their businesses. It's my passion project. I've learned a great deal about what it takes to succeed through the stories of others. This podcast brings my abilities to prioritize and multitask to the front. In addition, it's a great way to develop my leadership skills. Selling is my profession. I believe that selling is all about connecting, and connecting with someone starts with empathy. Empathetic selling allows us to ask tough questions, set good boundaries, and understand others. Empathy makes for better customers, leaders, and connections. Empathy-based selling has allowed me to progress as a salesperson, stay on top of the leaderboards, and win. I try to embody the principles of Stoicism which aids in my success in sales and life. The story of my life is summed up in one quote found on all the Roman Sundials "Enjoy yourselves; it's later than you think." Thanks for coming to my TedTalk (a goal of mine).
