What gets you out of bed each morning?

Mine is a mix of passions

– firstly trying to build my business, it’s hard, scary and exciting in equal measure, but incredibly motivating and satisfying when I make any progress

– secondly helping other people improve experiences for their customers, I love the idea of making peoples’ lives just a tiny bit better each day.

I have been told it’s a bit naive, but I don’t care…because I do care 🤣 making things better for other people makes me feel good

For me finding my purpose has been rewarding and I believe that having a purpose is key to success

Now anybody who knows me knows I love my coffee

It’s one of my few indulgences and this picture is of the roastery at Mancoco in Manchester where I get my locally roasted beans

They also have a coffee shop attached under the railway arches where you get great coffee and great service

Built on a foundation of amazing products they also offer great experiences including roasting & tasting

I love the ethically sourced single origin coffees including my favourite from amongst coffee hill stations in Coorg in India where I have actually visited 

So I get great memories with my excellent coffee

Thoroughly recommend you try it you are looking for great coffee beans - they do also deliver

Don’t you hate it when bigger businesses don’t pay smaller businesses on time?

I do

It’s not a good look

And I always pay my suppliers on time because of the experiences I’ve had

It doesn’t happen with most of my clients, but one or two push the line from time to time 

I get it cash flow can be an issue…

At the moment one client in particular is holding out on paying

Very frustrating for small businesses where it is soooooo important to get paid on time.

Oh well I will keep chasing
