Independent product designer. I use a methodological approach to design systems based on principles from Human Centered Design and Translational Research approaches. I employ an ethnographic approach to design, where the product design is guided by user feedback. Then by prototyping using lo-fi to Hi-fi methods and wireframes, I introduce the work to my developers, who create the resulting product.  Some products I have had the pleasure of designing include "Emotionmirror.com", "Polymath.global" and the Neurofitness wellness center customer web portal.

I provide business and IT consulting for SMBs specifically in the health care and wellness sectors. I have worked with clients to transition their IT infrastructure from bare metal to the cloud utilizing technologies such as Office 365, OneDrive and Google Cloud. Managed websites and e-commerce systems, and maintained Exchange server and Active Directory user profiles using Azure. Implementing clinic management system for patient booking and integration with electronic medical record systems.

CS 207: Building Interactive Gadgets

This undergraduate course is an introduction to developing and building electronic devices for applications in multimedia art and maker culture. Students will learn to create interesting interactive gadgets using sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers such as Arduino. Teaching software platforms such as Arduino IDE, MaxMSP and Fusion360 for CAD design.

The class aims to explore how, why, and where we play in the field of 
creative technologies and provide genuine moments of connection through creative exploration 
and collaboration inside and outside of class time. It is a complex and alienating world right now, 
hopefully we can find some moments of learning through play by listening to each other, being 
responsible to each other, and finding ways to learn from each other, even in this strange remote 
mode.

I developed an online membership platform utilizing commercially available systems including MindBody Online and WordPress CMS, and implemented automation to enhance process flow between our various technologies leading to an improved customer experience.
