My Role:
As VP of Engineering, I lead the tech and product teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects that drive the company’s goals.
My responsibilities include:
- Set and oversee OKRs to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Defining and guiding projects and milestones, from concept to execution.
- Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration and product delivery.
- Reporting directly to the co-founders to provide updates on progress, challenges, and strategic direction.
- Leading the team in building innovative solutions that address complex compliance challenges across various industries.

In Legal One we are building a solution that helps law companies automate their processes. My main responsibilities are:
- ensure that the team builds software that is architecturally consistent and of high quality. 
- meet with team members 1on1 on a regular basis.
- ensure that team members are empowered and have a strong feeling of ownership. 
- managing releases of bigger projects. 
- project planning and providing high-level architectural decisions. 
- stepping up into the CTO role for nine months during the transition period.
- hiring for Backend, Frontend, and DevOps, PO, and CTO positions.
- individual contribution as a member of the SRE team by debugging problems, helping with maintenance, and setting up monitoring and alarms.

Knip (later DIG https://digitalinsurance.io/) was Europe’s leading digital insurance broker, having 500.000+ downloads on iOS and Android, winning multiple international awards.

My role was to build and lead the team that built the Mobile Apps and in-house CRM system. Started as Team Lead for the Engineering Department with six employees. I have grown the team to twenty-five employees and was promoted to Head of Engineering in March 2016. 

Setup scrum and agile practices and scale up to three independent Scrum teams. I was tuning the hiring process together with the HR department so we can scale up fast and still be able to choose the best talents. We have built a culture where honest feedback and frequent code reviews were habits. We have kept high code quality and system stability with high test coverage, regular code reviews, and QA automatization.

I have worked as a Team Lead on the main companies projects at that moment with teams of four to six people depending on the project. The team that I was leading consistently delivered high-quality solutions on time which led to the company acquiring more clients, growing faster, and building a reputation as a reliable partner. 
Started working for the company when the office in Belgrade counted around ten people in the Engineering team and helped the company grow to sixty employees in two years by participating in the process of interviewing for PHP, JavaScript, QA, Java, and Android software engineer positions.
