What I've learned is that when you serve well in the environment you're in, GOD has a way of creating a path for you that's bursting with more fulfillment than you could possibly imagine. I'm in a dream sports job with Turner Sports where I get to work on the digital operations team with iconic sports brands. I wouldn't have imagined finding enjoyment in operations after all the disappointments over the years. However Turner Sports does such an incredible job of treating people like gold that the culture creates a space where you're willing to serve in whatever capacity is needed. For as wonderful as all that sounds, there's still something burning inside me for personal branding. I've known for years that there would be a time for me to start pursing what personal branding means to me so that I can learn how to communicate that to others. So without desperation or dissatisfaction, I started something on the side called Life Brand Academy. My vision for this business is to create content resources that teach people how to discover and build their personal brand. I don't need this to be a success right now. But I did need to get it started. Business as you can probably tell fills my tank. But I would be a shell of a man without pursuing what a healthy me looks like in the eyes of my GOD and people. For me that looks like pursuing emotional health, self-awareness, and leading with empathy. By pursuing a place of wholeness on the inside of myself, I want to lean into conversations with others about what that looks like for them.
