Officially launched in the spring of '08, providing a wide-range of IT services to residential & small-business clients throughout central Alberta. The business was based in Lacombe until 2013, at which time we migrated to the town of Blackfalds (and then Red Deer as of 2021.) Services we offer include hardware repair & upgrades, operating system maintenance & configuration, new & refurbished hardware sales and IT consulting. Since the fall of 2020 we have been in the process of winding down this operation (in order to migrate operations to NanoTech Systems), though this has proven to be a slower process than anticipated.

Initially envisioned as a precious-metals backed real-estate fund, our business model has since grown to encompass a number of other approaches.  Nevertheless, our setup of a physical metals fund (for US investors) remains a core endeavor--in order to offer accredited/institutional investors south of the border an opportunity to protect (and potentially grow) their capital in the face of the impending currency/banking crisis.  So US investors would get the security of gold/silver, together with the end-goal of high-quality real estate ownership in some of the better markets across Alberta & Ontario.  As value investors our team will seek out some of the better opportunities in single & multifamily residential within the Provinces of Alberta & Ontario.  We'll also seek to provide opportunities for Canadian accredited investors looking to joint-venture on a variety of deals.  

As we are building this business to weather the financial storm that is brewing, we will be starting out as a low-leverage operation until we are more well-established.

Cryptocurrency mining startup that I first began working on in 2019, and which a few business partners began collaborating with me on during the spring of 2020. We were engaged in active research & business development for for corporation but ultimately decided to put our proof of work plans on hold for a variety of reasons, primarily macroeconomic, regulatory & supply-chain related. Adversities that include excessive crypto regulation within Canada, and the proposed 30% tax on proof on work operations in the USA have given investors pause for concern as they weigh their appetite for continued involvement within the space. A large number of crypto companies have either exited North America or gone into bankruptcy during this last downturn, so we stepped back in order to not contribute to systemic risk for investors. NanoTech may eventually relaunch as a super-computing hardware & AI hosting provider

Subcontracted for about 6 months, handling the home service calls out of their Lacombe office, various repair/service work in shop.  Ran full technical operations for 6 weeks while their other technician was on holidays.

Got my feet wet in the industry with my first full-time computer job.  Served clients and performed repairs in-shop, troubleshooting on a variety of problems.  Helped with multimedia transfers as well, involved in digitizing client film reels and photographic slides.

Entrepreneur with experience in a wide variety of fields, including information technology, finance, blockchain and real estate.  Currently working on a couple of startups, including a real-estate holding company which will follow alternative acquisition strategies.  We will be providing value to our investors through a variety of ways, including in-house management of maintenance/repairs, property management and sourcing off-market deals through our network of realtors (and directly to distressed sellers.)
