At Amazon, I was responsible for keeping one of the world’s largest eCommerce platforms running smoothly, delivering seamless experiences to millions of users. During the Covid pandemic, my team developed automated infrastructure management solutions that cut the cost of ownership in half while increasing availability to 99.9%. Al this at a time when transactions were surging and cloud resources were becoming more and more expensive. At JPMorgan Chase, I've thrived in a culture that challenges every engineer to do more with less—driving innovation while maintaining the highest standards of reliability. I'm currently accountable for messaging applications that send over 30 million transactions each day with a high level of reliability. My team manages service-level agreements, cybersecurity policies, sustained resiliency, and disaster recovery for over 20 high-availability, global customer-facing applications. In my time at JPMC, introduced SRE disciplines that improved self-healing mechanisms, redued the cost of outages while increasing overall reliability. By leveraging automation to eliminate toil, I have freed engineers from repetitive tasks, allowing them to focus on higher-value initiatives. As a former leader of the Ignite DevOps Guild, I collaborated with hundreds of developers to drive best practices in application architecture, continuous delivery, and the shift to microservices. Currently I am a proud member of the SRE Guild, serving as a Bar Raiser to ensure reliability standards and practices are followed firmwide.
