This is the biggest problem I see with people's financial plans. I bet you're making it too! ..... You did the responsible thing. You bought life insurance to protect your family. Congratulations! BUT... Your agent never reviewed it with you. They retired, quit, or changed industries. In the meantime: Cost of living went up. Your income level rose. Your financial goals & plans changed. Your standard of living increased. You bought a new house & car. You assumed more debt. You had more children. ..... Your new job doesn't offer enough coverage. Your life insurance company sold. Everyday I crush someone's dreams... People always ask: "Should I sell insurance?" And I'm brutally honest with them. My first years required 60, 80, & 100 hr wks. I'm not glorifying that or bragging. I wanted to be successful. That's what it took. If you're not willing to do what it takes but convince yourself you can, you're hallucinating. Statistically: → 120/130 agents quit or fail in yr 1 → 1/130 agents remain after yr 2 → 1/1,000 remain after yr 3 At year 9, it's the hardest job I've ever worked. It's also the most rewarding. There's no get rich quick formula / easy button: → You have to face the rejection. → You have to put in the work. → You have to do hard things.
