In January 2020 Harvey Austin and I were exhausted by working at agencies that didn’t work, with clients who didn’t care. So we met in a pub and talked about what we thought was wrong. The main thing that struck us was the process of casting talent on briefs; agencies never resourced based on who was right for job, they based it on who had capacity in the building. It worked for some, but it didn’t work for us. It was time to shake things up.
