But we also work on our brands. We build websites, design apps and even print notebooks. We’re genuinely inspired by everything around us, and the skills we have in-house (and within our wider partner network) allow us to build out our thoughts into reality.

We’re not sales people (we don’t even employ a sales team). All of our work is via recommendations – and we’re completely open and honest as to whether we feel we’d be a good match for each other.

Initially brought in to develop Leighton's first full SEO offering, my role has developed considerably since joining, and I now lead, advise and support on a vast array of digital engagement strategies.

Key Duties:

• Lead on all aspects of client SEO and digital engagement strategies, from tender stage consultation to strategy implementation, whereby the key focus is delivering an unrivalled user experience through targeted content delivery.

• Complete technical optimisation of all websites, ensuring search engine conformity, first class user journey and ultimately, a continual growth in conversions.

• Develop and maintain relationships with industry relevant personnel to assist with key strategy components, including brand recognition and company message distribution via dedicated outreach campaigns.

• Identify target digital audiences through the use of in-depth keyword research, audience analysis and persona development.

• Integrating search and broader digital campaigns within existing strategies through close working partnerships with marketing and communication departments.

• Act as the key point of contact on wider digital activities, including PPC, affiliate marketing and email marketing.

• Research emerging technologies and determine their suitability for both internal and client-based use.

• Form an integral part of the innovation offering, ensuring Leighton's heritage of innovating continues to be seen as a key part of the company's reputation.

Key Achievements

• Achieved 149% growth in organic search traffic over a three month period for the UK’s leading social housing provider.

• Development of a joint segmented email subscription and marketing campaign,
with results on track for a minimum 200% increase in visitor engagement.

• Implemented digital guidelines to ensure full and proper representation of the brand
on all social platforms.

Digital Engagement Strategist

Zine UK

Inspired by Zine's love for developing high quality products and services that deliver results time and time again, I created and implemented search marketing strategies that met client requirements both initially and on an on-going basis.

Key Duties:

• Responsible for the development and implementation of results-driven search marketing strategies, inclusive of numerous resources such as SEO and social media. 

• Oversaw and involved in the publishing of regular, high quality content across numerous channels, including blogs, websites, social media and newsletters.

• Through the use of traffic monitoring software, analysed website visitor data to ensure all strategies were achieving their goals, making amendments where necessary to be confident the utmost success was seen for all clients.

• Responsible for two Content Specialists, organising monthly workloads, encouraging efficiency and providing regular advice and support. 

• Maintained positive relationships with clients and franchisees, ensuring the highest satisfaction levels possible were achieved.

• Devised and deliverd training guides and sessions on a range of digital media topics.

• Acted as the key account holder for every Zine-based social network, maintaining an active presence on all, so to increase brand awareness, website traffic and conversions.

Search Marketing Specialist

As Venture Director, my role is to provide our portfolio of companies with the support they need to succeed. Working with our experienced venture builder team, we provide everything the company requires - product development, sales, marketing, back office support and beyond.

Currently focused on the Quva brand and acting as Chief Growth Officer, Quva is a highly configurable and highly customisable SaaS solution for the alternative investment market. Providing companies such as Maven Capital Partners, Acorn Property Invest and DSW Invest with an end-to-end investment platform, we're helping transform the industry to make it better for all involved.
