Many people in El Paso county struggle with getting fresh local produce. Good Steward Farms is here to meet this need in our community. By listening to nature, we foster healthy soil to produce nutrient-rich food. We strive to enable, educate, and empower people to live their best lives while preserving food security and protecting our precious planet for future generations.

Peak Vista Community Health Centers -  First Visitor Program

Encourage and educate parents on the developmental milestones their child will go thru in the first 3 years of life. I meet one-on-one with families in the comfort of their own home and discuss such topics as Immunizations, medical home, nutrition, and answer any questions or concerns parents might have regarding their child.  With  resources from the First Visitor program, if the family is in need of essential baby items like clothing or diapers, I will be able to take those items to the visits as well.

Ahavah Farm

Volunteering at Ahavah provided me with a close understanding of community centered around healthy food choices.  I also discovered the disconnects between consumers and commercial food production/distribution.  For me, this highlighted the need for local fresh fresh food for my surrounding communities.  Studying under Yosef taught me how important the food web is and its importance to nutrient dense food.  His methods showed me how to be a good steward of the soil that feeds vegetable that feed us.
