Talent Garden Innovation School

I taught SEO and Content Marketing modules for the Digital Marketing online course by Talent Garden Innovation School. This consisted of teacher-driven 2,5-hour Zoom classes with in-class exercises.

I was also responsible for end-of-course examinations, performance assessment, and final grading along with an external censor.

The course is delivered as a collaboration between KEA (Copenhagen School of Design & Technology) and Talent Garden. It helps people gain or expand their knowledge of Digital Marketing through a 6-week online program. Participants earn 10 ECTS towards the  Academy Profession Degree in Information & Communication Technology.^

For the Spring 2023 semester, I took on the additional role of Scientific Coordinator, responsible for supporting students' learning via regular office hours and ad-hoc questions on the Slack channel.

My primary job was developing high-performing SEO content to attract organic traffic. I've also driven initiatives to increase our landing page conversion rate and improve Billetto's core product.

1. DRIVING TRAFFIC VIA SEO
- Launched Billetto's Wordpress blog (including plugins and hosting)
- Recruited and managed a team of blog freelancers (4 content writers and 15 translators)
- Developed and maintained the blog style guide and editorial calendar
- Performed keyword research to identify high-value search terms
- Wrote long-form SEO articles and conversion copy for landing pages
- Nurtured relationships with prominent writers within the event industry

KEY RESULTS:
- Blog traffic grew from 0 to 110,000 monthly visitors within 1 year (February 2019 to February 2020)
- Landing page traffic increased 9x from 5,500 to 60,000 monthly visitors.

2. INCREASING B2B CONVERSION RATE
- Devised and ran usability tests to identify improvement opportunities
- Created wireframes for new landing pages
- Ran A/B tests to establish the best-performing variants
- Launched Billetto's Enterprise site aimed at key event industry players
- Designed and implemented blog CTA elements to increase click-through and sign-up rates
- Developed lead magnets to increase email capture on the blog
- Set up Mailchimp campaigns for blog subscribers

- Improved landing page conversion rate by 50% in the first round
- Drove several subsequent incremental improvements of up to 20% each
- Tripled the direct sign-up rate on the blog within 3 months
- Brought the number of captured blog leads to 100 per week

3. IMPROVING BILLETTO'S CORE PRODUCT
- Identified and scoped out improvement initiatives
- Created detailed project briefs to be executed by the engineering team

KEY RESULTS:
- Greatly streamlined the process of creating events on Billetto
- Drove the launch of new event category segmentation
- Spearheaded a major clean-up of Billetto's search engine indexation and SERP presence
