As a member of the Thinkific Plus Marketing team, I'm responsible for executing a content marketing strategy that generates qualified leads and drives growth for one of Canada’s Top Growing SaaS Companies of 20222. 

Key responsibilities include: 

- Developing and maintaining a content marketing strategy: Honing in on target audience and needs, creating content themes, executing paid and traditional media planning, maintaining conistency across owned channels.

- Strategizing, creating and curating content that drives traffic and net new leads: This includes researching, writing, assigning and creating blog posts, eBooks, whitepapers, webinars, podcasts, and other forms of content that educate and provide value. 

- Managing and growing social media accounts: Developing and maintaining a social media strategy for the Plus brand and working closely with a social media agency to generate audience growth across B2B social media platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.

- Optimizing content for search engines: Conducting SEO research to identify relevant keywords and optimizing content to increase organic search visibility.

- Analyzing and reporting on content performance: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) like website traffic, conversion rates and engagement metrics to continuously optimize the content marketing strategy.

- Collaborating with other departments: Working closely with Customer Success, Sales and Product to ensure that content aligns with company objectives and key results. 

- Staying up-to-date on industry trends: Staying informed about changes in e-learning, the creator economy, and the edtech industry.

I acted as the Director of Operations and Marketing at Karseva Company, the company that produces the Lessons Learned Podcast and markets high-ticket digital products and online programs such as:  “The Next Right Step” and “Your Best Year”.

During my time in this role, I worked hand in hand with the CEO Komal Minhas to establish a content marketing strategy, strategize product launches, and direct the internal team in executing organic and paid digital media marketing planning across content channels to generate conversions and increase revenue.

I was responsible for creating a content strategy and producing high volumes of content to grow a personal & commercial brand across different channels such as paid and organic social, web, email, and the Lessons Learned Podcast.

In this role I was deeply passionate about I acted as an administrative coordinator for the Carleton University Student’s Association. This involved ensuring the Service Centre met the needs of students through outreach, support and advocacy, particularly Womxn, Femme and Non-Binary folks. 

I was responsible for maintaining a financial budget, recruiting and maintaining a close relationship with volunteers to assist in the Centre’s day-to-day operation and special projects, planning and coordination of informational and educational events including (but not limited to): Survivors Speak, Fem(me) Film Fest and other centre activities and event at least once per semester, as well as the ongoing maintenance and growth of the centre’s social media accounts and email newsletter.
