Perfection sucks! From procrastination to spending all your energy worrying about what other people will think the bottom line is that perfection is all about trying to control the outcomes you see in the future. My clients overcome perfection. They learn to define who they want to be and wake up each day satisfied with the person reflected in the mirror! I am a Certified Professional Coach, a leader in my local chapter of the International Coaching Federation (Oregon Charter Chapter), an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner, a business owner, a husband, a live-stream host/interviewer and and influencer. I'm a recovering perfectionist. I work every day to overcome my perfectionist tendencies, to live a more fulfilling and productive life. I learned to recognize my perfection from the symptoms and using positive psychology/neuroscience, iterative design and more I came up with a concept of Conscious Iterative Living: being aware, living in the present (not depressed over the past or anxious over the future), focusing on the positive and best-case-scenarios, and working each to day better myself one small step at a time (rather than shooting for perfection every dang time). It has been eye opening for me! But even more so, it is fulfilling to help my clients overcome perfection. From getting out and finally committing to doing more yoga and physical activity, launching a new business, applying for a promotion, defining who you want to be and figuring out exactly why you are hung up on how someone treats you. I get immense fulfillment watching my clients thrive!
