For as long as I can remember I've been into all things creative. Whether it was drawing, building websites, creating videos or thinking up business ideas, this mindset to pursue creative projects and build cool things has always been there. Then when I graduated from Vancouver Film School in 2011 things really got started for me. I had gained the skills and experience I needed to collaborate with others and actually bring these creative projects to life. I spent the next 10 years doing just that and accomplished a few things along the way: • Generated my first $1 million in revenue as an entrepreneur, serving as the managing director of a marketing and creative agency I started with a friend. We delivered marketing strategies, managed social media channels and created content for all sizes of businesses in various markets. • Co-founded Vancity HUB with a mission to help alleviate social isolation in Vancouver by providing local events and meetups for like-minded folks to come together, build new relationships and support one another. To date we've hosted over 50+ events in Vancouver and raised over $15,000 in monetary and in-kind donations for community partners. (We're just getting started!) • Went from guest lecturer to PT digital marketing instructor, teaching all things digital and content marketing for two years. I developed course material and mentored students along their learning journey, and was selected to also deliver lessons to the marketing team at Best Buy and Vancity Credit Union. Most recently I’ve been working independently as a marketing advisor and content creator supporting businesses with developing and implementing communication strategies across social media, websites and various digital channels. This work has me involved from the initial strategy development, to then leading the content creation process, right through to distributing campaigns and creative to tracking their results.
