In this 6 month contract position I oversaw the development of a number of super premium whiskies and special edition, bespoke products including The Macallan Flask 2 with Urwerk, and the sixth edition of The Masters of Photography series.

Edrington makes some of the world’s best and best-loved Scotch whiskies, including The Macallan, The Famous Grouse, Cutty Sark and Highland Park. The portfolio is complemented by Brugal, the leading rum in the Caribbean, and by Snow Leopard vodka.

Highland Spring Ltd

As Brand Manager I developed the annual marketing brand plan to ensure all functional KPIs are achieved. This included managing the development and implementation of a new national advertising campaign and full responsibility for the production of new TV ad, bringing it in on time and within budget. I was also responsible for the evaluation and analysis of all consumer marketing campaigns and the management of a roster of agencies.

Highland Spring Group is the UK's largest bottled water company. They produce only naturally sourced bottled water and their portfolio includes some of the UK's best loved soft drink brands such as Highland Spring, Speyside Glenlivet, Hydr8 and Hydr8 Flavours. The Group supplies a range of private label flavoured and unflavoured waters to many of the UK's major supermarkets and food service retailers, making them the UK’s leading supplier of private label bottled water.

Brand Manager

Implement a national television, print and outdoor advertising campaign, as well as assist with the launch of the first major brand extension the business had undertaken. During this time I was also responsible for all on-pack sales promotion activity, including the brand’s three most successful promotions to date. I was also in charge of the brand’s golf sponsorship portfolio, including sole responsibility for the activation and implementation of Highland Spring’s sponsorship of The 2014 Ryder Cup.

Assitant Brand Manager

Assist with the development, implementation and management of the corporate communications strategy and plan. This was during an exciting time for the business, going from a one brand, one site business to a multi-site, multi-brand company, including the creation of the Highland Spring Group (from previously just 'Highland Spring' the brand). It was also during this time I played a central NPD project management role in developing and launching the company's first brand of flavoured water.

Marketing Communications & Innovation Executive

Dual role working for both the Head of Brand Marketing, and the Head of Sponsorship to deliver on the annual marketing plan. This would involve working on national ad campaigns (TV, radio, outdoor, etc.), new product development including on-pack promotions, and also managing sponsorship and PR events. It was also during this time that I played a key role in taking the brand online and setting up a social media presence.

In this role I was responsible for supplying market data and insight to Marketing, Sales and the wider business. In addition to this, I was tasked with interpreting and analysing complex data to drive key insights into consumer trends and behaviours.

MediaCo - now part of Attercopia - were a marketing agency specialising in high quality digital marketing solutions. In my role as an Account Manager I had responsibility for managing PPC for a number of clients from a wide variety of industries.
