Danielle Gutierrez was born and raised in Tampa, Fl. A vivacious, self motivated Hispanic professional with an understanding of politics, healthcare, project/product management and the media. She received a B.S. in Political Science from The Florida State University in 2016 and graduated with a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Project Management at The University of South Florida in August 2020. She is always looking for new opportunities that will allow her to gain experience, knowledge, and professional growth. She strives to make a difference in the world by driving positive social change in her community and advocate for people who don't have a voice. She executes this through the media, non-profits, healthcare, education, and political realms. She is the Chair of the Diversity Advisory Council for Hillsborough County. She also sits on the board of Tampa Connection, a Nonprofit organization that focuses on leadership, networking, and volunteering time through special projects for local nonprofits. Danielle is currently employed at Centene Corporation as a Program Manager. She provides invaluable support to the FL market (Sunshine Health) as the subject matter expert for the Children’s Medical Services (CMS) Health Plan. She handles day to day operations of the Plan, as well as project manage special programs and innovative initiatives. She works directly with internal and external stakeholders, as well as their client, the Department of Health (DOH), to ensure we are delivering on our contractual commitments and demonstrating our value to our government client and those we serve.
