Finance specialist with over 17 years of experience in revenue, risk, credit management, and financial operational services with my main focus on automation and data utilization. For the last 8+ years, I have worked closely with start-up companies within the FinTech industry (payments) trying to optimize customer experiences and increase operational growth. I am developing new products for a better customer experience in both B2B and B2C segments. Fractional work is becoming increasingly important in the start-up scene. It allows a start-up to hire faster and smarter without the extent of implementing the full hiring process, and still get the same value for the work that is being performed. Working together with main-level management and C-level executives has provided me with much experience on how companies are operating as well as the mistakes that "can and will be made" during the first years of any company's existence. My business values that are valid wherever I worked: ➼ Fraud management is to protect a company; but also to simplify the sales process. ➼ Data management is to help automate processes; both internal and external (customer-facing). ➼ Finance management ensures that the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting is correct (not to forget the VAT reporting to avoid issues with the tax office). ➼ Revenue management is to help a company become self-sustainable, and eventually generate a profit. ➼ Risk management helps to understand a company's weak points, both internally and externally (customer-facing).
