Head of SMB Sales & Lead Generation

Following the acquisition of ResponseSource by Access Intelligence I have taken on the responsibility of the Vuelio SMB New Business Team.

Key Responsibilities:

o Management responsibility of a team of 12 sales professionals.
o Management and sales responsibilities for an online software service which provides solutions to the PR and media sectors.

Leadership: Lead the Vuelio New Business SMB sales team to deliver against monthly and annual business targets and objectives.

SMB Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

o Management responsibility of a team of 9 sales professionals.
o Management and sales responsibilities for an online software service which provides solutions to the PR and media sectors.
o Revenue Responsibility -  Split across new business and subscription renewal revenue.
o Increasing new business revenue YOY by 17% in first full year in the business.

Leadership: Lead the ResponseSource sales team to deliver against monthly and annual business targets and objectives.

Strategy: Responsibility for ongoing pricing strategy, service development and customer engagement. 

Financial targets: Work with the Founder of the business to set and deliver forecast Sales revenue and related cost of sales. Set and drive delivery of KPI’s for revenue growth. Continual analysis of sales performance and direct sales resource to maximise revenue generation and growth.

Team management: Continuously review team structure to ensure that team delivers required business objectives and succession planning is in place. Recruitment, performance review, mentoring and development of staff within the team.

New Business Development: Driving New Business revenues through the creation and implementation of a New Business strategy across the team, targeting specific existing and emerging markets.

Day to Day Management: Attend monthly management and brand/marketing meetings with other stake holders to ensure smooth running of the department. Report on activity and explore new sales strategies.

UK Sales Director

Key Responsibilities:

o Management responsibility of a team of 9 sales professionals.
o Management and sales responsibilities for online media relations information, management and networking services. 

Leadership: Lead the DWPub sales team to deliver against monthly and annual business targets and objectives.

Financial targets: Work with the Founder of the business to set and deliver forecast Sales revenue and related cost of sales. Set and drive delivery of KPI’s for revenue growth. Continual analysis of sales performance and direct sales resource to maximise revenue generation and growth.

Team management: Continuously review team structure to ensure that team delivers required business objectives and succession planning is in place. Recruitment, performance review, mentoring and development of staff within the team.

New Business Development: Driving New Business revenues through the creation and implementation of a New Business strategy across the team, targeting specific existing and emerging markets.

UK Sales Manager

o Management and sales responsibilities for corporate client sector.

Leadership: Lead the Corporate Business Development sales team to deliver against monthly and annual business targets and objectives.

Financial targets: Work with the Sales Director to set and deliver forecast Sales revenue and related cost of sales. Set and drive delivery of KPI’s for revenue growth. Continual analysis of sales performance and direct sales resource to maximise revenue generation and growth.

Team management: Continuously review team structure to ensure that team delivers required business objectives and succession planning is in place. Recruitment, performance review, mentoring and development of staff within the team.

Sales Manager - Corporate

Key Responsibilities:

o Management responsibility of 14 employees.
o Management and sales responsibilities for print and online products across three portfolios: Finance/Tax; Legal; Regulatory and Compliance
o Sales responsibility for 13 print publications, 3 print directories, 15 editorial websites, 5 job sites, 2 directory/referral websites and 2 awards ceremonies.

Leadership: Lead the sales teams (display, recruitment, directories) to deliver annual business objectives.
 
Financial targets:  Work with the Publishing Director to set and deliver forecast Ad Sales/directory revenue and related cost of sales. Set and drive delivery of KPI’s for revenue growth. Continual analysis of sales performance and direct sales resource to maximise revenue generation and growth.
 
Online advertising:  Driving delivery of budgeted revenues on the following online media: Editorial websites, recruitment jobsites, e-newsletters and directory/business referral websites, whilst continually exploring new digital revenue opportunities.

Team management:  Continuously review team structure to ensure that department delivers required business objectives and succession planning is in place.  Recruitment, performance review, mentoring and development of staff within the department.

New Business Development: Ensure that external trends, information and networks are developed to ensure up to date knowledge of the business and markets that we are involved in is attained to convert this into potential new revenue generating ideas.
    
Day to Day Management:  Attend monthly management and brand meetings with other stake holders to ensure smooth running of the department.  Report on activity and explore new sales opportunities.  Work with editorial and production teams on contract publishing ventures/pitches.
