Danny is focused on building long-term brands to fulfill long-term vision of wealth creation in business.In a short span , he has had the opportunity to spearhead marketing for top global brands like McDonald’s, Dishtv & Tata Consumer along with new age category disruptor brands like California Burrito. At California Burrito, he is part of the leadership team and is building the future of Fast Food- A Fresh Fast Casual Mexican Restaurant concept with over 60 stores in India. At Tata Consumer Products Limited, he was part of the innovation team, which set up the out-of-home business from ground zero. He lead thinking & execution in marketing, e-commerce, loyalty, menu and adjacent innovation. At McDonald's India, his first challenge was to turn around the family business (happy meals). A consumer focused happy meal calendar along with a multi-pronged strategy involving engagement of the parent, child and restaurant staff delivered double digit growth for the brand. An year later, he got additional P&L responsibility for menu management . In a category, wherein the obvious was to romance food, we took up the decision to connect with the consumer through point of view consumer insight driven brand campaigns. This strategy didn't just reinvigorate brand love, trust and empathy but also turned around the overall business towards positive momentum. A 4 year long stint at Dishtv laid the foundation of his career in marketing. He disrupted a category known for packs/channels with 3 differentiated consumer products, each crafted with a unique positioning strategy. This paved way for dishtv to continue to remain exciting for the consumer as well as maintain its leadership position in the category by growing in double digits.
