Looking back now, it feels like has taken me an extraordinary length of time to really find out where I feel I belong. Almost every job I have had since my first shift behind a bar in a workingmen's club when I was a teenager has involved helping people. The jobs may have changed, and the sectors may have varied over the years, but helping people and building meaningful relationships has always been the one thing that gets me out of bed in the morning. I love it. In initial meetings I would much rather get to know you rather your business first, because you ARE your business! Finding out what your likes and interests are, over a brew, makes me invested in your business, and your journey, and also, as a prolific networker, helps me point you in the right direction to find potentially more business for you. When you say you are an internet service provider, the preconception can be that you are very technically minded. To be fair with me, this is a long way from the mark. I always say that I struggle with light switches! But I don't need to be technical to see when a person is is tearing their hair out, because their internet connection is just not cutting it for them. Internet. It really is the one thing that we take for granted in business, that should "just work" so that you can get on with running your business effectively. If it doesn't, due to zoom calls buffering badly, or VoIP calls being of bad quality, it can reflect negatively on your business. Embarrassingly having to apologise to a potential client, because you can't have a simple conversation with them. We can help with that. More importantly I WANT to help you with that!
